Everyone needs to know how much income they’ve made, and crochet designers are no exception! We also need to pay our taxes, and that’s kind of hard if you don’t know how much you’ve made in sales.
As per the Vendor Agreement, Designers are required to handle all of their own taxes, which means you are responsible for figuring out who you need to pay, and how much.
With our software to generate reports, we make it much easier than counting the sales in your PayPal account or bank statement.
To start generating reports, go to your Designer Dashboard, and click the “Reports” button circled below.
This is the Reports interface. You can either show a graph of sales and fees from the last year, last month, last seven days, or set a custom date range.
You can also print any of these reports, using the big purple “Print” button.
The Reports interface by default show your gross sales, total admin fees, total paid fees, total refunds, orders place, items purchased, and total tax recieved.
This last one is the one you will need to focus on for taxes, but it is different depending on the region you live in.
The circled area is where the lines on the graph will show up. This view will give you an overall sense of how much you’ve made in the set period.
To see a list of orders and the information that is attributed to them, click the “Orders” section in the left side navigation bar. The circled area is where you can export or print the list of information, for your records.
To see all the information on the Payments that have been made to you and you have made, click the “Payments” section in the left side navigation bar. The circled area is where you can export or print the list of information for your records.
